Take two steps at a time when walking up stairs in order to place your leg in an advantageous position for better mechanical leverage. In movement, there is no bad mechanics or improper form, there is only unprepared muscle tissue or a lack of load capacity on said tissue. Train as many planes and angles as possible and you’ll see your strength increase and your injury potential decrease.
